Waiting on Wednesday #17: The Space Between Us

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Breaking the Spine.

My pick for this week is:

The Space Between Us
From the author of "Virtuosity," a novel about two sisters and the secrets they tell, the secrets they keep--and the secret that could tear them apart.Amelia is used to being upstaged by her charismatic younger sister, Charly. She doesn't mind, mostly, that it always falls to her to cover for Charly's crazy, impulsive antics. But one night, Charly's thoughtlessness goes way too far, and she lands both sisters in serious trouble.

Amelia's not sure she can forgive Charly this time, and not sure she wants to . . . but forgiveness is beside the point. Because Charly is also hiding a terrible secret, and the truth just might tear them apart forever.

I haven't read Virtuosity, but the premise of this book sounds interesting.  It sounds like it will be an interesting sister story.  I can't wait to read it once it is released on October 16th.

What are you Waiting On this Wednesday?

  1. Hm, I'm not sure if the book is right for me because of the genre and all the secrets but I can't deny the fact that it is terribly interesting. I'm going to think about reading this one when it comes out. Nice pick!

  2. SISTERS! Added :') LOL I think I'll want to read any book that deals with the complicated relationship between sisters because I love my own with all my heart, and there's always usually a lot of drama involved. I haven't read Virtuosity either, but I've heard good things about this author and I think I'll have to start with Space Between Us! ;)

Awesome pick for your WOW, Katie! :) <3

  3. I'm gonna keep an eye out for reviews of this book so I can get a better sense of whether this is something I would like. Books like this make we wish I had a sister, and curse my brothers lol.

  8. Hi Katie! Thanks for stopping by my blog. Did you get my message answering your message? This book sounds intriguing. I read more MG than YA, but I do love YA too! I'm waiting for Libba Bray's THE DIVINERS!

    1. I did get your message. I'm the opposite on MG vs. YA. I read much more YA and maybe the occasional MG.
